Nader Sculpture Park Set to Open in Miami, Featuring Over 50 Renowned Artists
Miami’s reputation as a global art destination is about to reach new heights with the upcoming opening of the Nader Sculpture Park in late 2024. This ambitious project, founded by the well-known art dealer and collector Gary Nader, is designed to enhance the city’s already vibrant cultural landscape by showcasing over 50 remarkable sculptures by internationally acclaimed artists.
Among the featured artists are some of the most celebrated names in the world of sculpture, including Fernando Botero, Richard Hudson, Frank Stella, Edgar Plans, Soraya Abu Nabaa, Rufino Tamayo, Agustin Cardenas, Edgar Negret, Alexander Calder, Rachel Valdes, Sophia Vari, Bernar Venet, Saint Clair Cemin, Robert Indiana, Olafur Eliasson, Carlos Cruz-Diez, and Jesus Soto. The diverse collection will offer visitors an extraordinary visual experience, blending classic and contemporary styles.
One of the park’s most captivating elements is Fernando Botero’s monumental sculpture Leda and the Swan, which has been on display since September 5th in the heart of the Miami Design District. This breathtaking piece, valued at $5 million, captures Botero’s unique artistic vision, defined by his iconic use of voluptuous figures and sensual themes. Inspired by the ancient Greek myth where Zeus, disguised as a swan, seduces Leda, the sculpture continues a long tradition of artistic interpretations by masters like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Peter Paul Rubens.
Leda and the Swan is poised to become one of the park’s major attractions, drawing both art connoisseurs and casual visitors alike. Its installation further highlights Miami’s role as a destination where art, culture, and urban sophistication meet.
The Nader Sculpture Park is not just a display of international artistic talent. It aims to create a dynamic cultural and social space within the Miami Design District. The park will host a variety of cultural, recreational, and private events, positioning it as a significant venue for community engagement.
Gary Nader’s vision for the park reflects his longstanding commitment to promoting global art and culture, with Miami as a key player on the international stage. As the city continues to evolve, the Nader Sculpture Park is expected to become a cornerstone of its cultural identity, attracting visitors from around the world and providing a breathtaking setting for future art exhibitions and events.
Bentley Residences Miami Tower Construction Cranes Set to Rise in 2025
Exciting new developments are coming to the Bentley Residences Miami site in Sunny Isles Beach, with plans for two massive construction cranes to take the project skyward. According to a new filing with the FAA, these cranes will play a crucial role in shaping what will become the tallest oceanfront building in the United States.
The first crane, dubbed Tower Crane #1, is set to soar 850 feet above the ground, reaching an impressive 857 feet above sea level. This crane will help propel construction to the highest heights of Bentley Residences. Tower Crane #2 won’t be far behind, reaching 742 feet above ground, or 749 feet above sea level.
The work schedule for these towering structures is expected to begin on January 15, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the development.
Bentley Residences Miami is set to stand 62 stories tall, topping off at 749 feet. This will solidify its status as the tallest oceanfront building in the U.S., reshaping the skyline of Sunny Isles and redefining luxury living in the region.
Earlier this year, Dezer Development, the mastermind behind this iconic project, held a groundbreaking ceremony, setting the stage for a construction timeline that will stretch to the end of 2027, when the building is slated for completion.
New Development Coming to Brickell-House of Wellness Hotel Tower

A stunning rooftop pool deck on the 43rd floor, providing breathtaking views of the Miami skyline and beyond
What sets this project apart from other Miami developments is its approval pathway. The House of Wellness will be processed through Miami-Dade’s Rapid Transit Zone (RTZ), rather than the City of Miami’s traditional planning process. This move highlights the significance of its proximity to transit and the county’s focus on improving urban mobility and connectivity in key areas like Brickell.

This hotel tower isn’t just another high-rise in Miami’s ever-evolving skyline; it is an exciting step forward in aligning luxury living with wellness-focused amenities. The rooftop pool deck, high-end accommodations, and location in one of Miami’s trendiest neighborhoods make this project one to watch.

The project, located at 2215-2237 Northwest 1st Place, 175 Northwest 22nd Street, and 170 Northwest 23rd Street, spans a 37,822-square-foot site. The proposal seeks to demolish the existing 27,406 square feet of commercial buildings on the property to make way for an eight-story development.
The city’s Wynwood Design Review Committee is set to evaluate the project on September 10th, a key step for the developer, Whale & Star Wynwood Owner LLC, which acquired the property for $24 million in 2023. The proposed building would total 246,307 square feet and include a combination of hotel rooms, residential condominiums, commercial space, and parking.
Key Features of the Proposed Development
214 hotel rooms: These rooms, sized between 223 and 425 square feet, will be located on the third through fifth floors.
87 condominiums: Situated on the sixth through eighth floors, the residential units will range from 406-square-foot studios to expansive 1,592-square-foot loft-style residences with up to three bedrooms and mezzanine decks.
11,350 square feet of commercial space: This will include 8,935 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a rooftop restaurant and bar.
Rooftop amenities: A gym and pool will be located on the rooftop, offering both residents and hotel guests a luxurious experience.

Cloud One Hotels will brand and operate the hotel component, while condo residents will have access to the hotel’s shared amenities, including concierge services, housekeeping, and more. This integration of hotel and residential living aligns with the growing trend of providing seamless, high-end experiences for both short-term guests and long-term residents.
Whale & Star Wynwood Owner LLC is a partnership between German hospitality group Motel One, Ralf Buschl of the Buschl Group, and Sebastian Ludke of ALP.X Group. Together, they aim to create a vibrant, dynamic addition to the Wynwood area, offering a blend of luxury, art, and urban convenience.
The development also seeks several waivers, including increased lot coverage and reduced parking requirements. These changes, if approved, will allow the project to fully utilize the site’s potential while maintaining the artistic and cultural fabric of the Wynwood neighborhood.
