Tom Brady Revealed as the Keynote Speaker at the eMerge Americas 2023 Conference in Miami Beach
The keynote speaker for eMerge Americas 2023 will be the recently retired football legend, Tom Brady.
On the opening day of the conference, the seven-time Super Bowl winner and businessman will offer his business views during a moderated chat. On April 20 and 21, the technology summit will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Brady is the founder of the NFT firm Autograph and the owner of the health and wellness brand TB12. Autograph earned $170 million in a series B transaction that was completed in January 2022. In 2024, he is scheduled to begin working as a pundit for Fox Sports.
After 23 seasons in the NFL, Brady announced last week that he is quitting the game. The announcement was made a year after he made his initial retirement announcement, which he then reversed six weeks later.
With the aim of making Miami the innovation hub of the Americas, eMerge Americas was established in 2014. It brings together investors, venture capital firms, and entrepreneurs in the technology sector. More than 20,000 people from 4,000 enterprises and 50 nations attended the event in 2022.
A platform with venture capital backing called eMerge Americas is working to make Miami the innovation capital of the Americas. Location Ventures Breaks Ground on URBIN Miami Beach
URBIN Miami Beach has officially broken ground. With developer Location Ventures, the achievement signifies the start of construction for the first-to-market mixed-use brand, which mixes design-forward residential units for short- or long-term rental with coworking spaces, wellness amenities, social activations, and lifestyle-oriented retail, all at one central address.

New York Based Seafood Restaurant to Open in Miami Beach
Miami Beach will welcome the seafood restaurant Catch in 2023 thanks to the New York-based Catch Hospitality Group.
At 200 South Pointe Drive, the restaurant will take up 22,000 square feet. New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Aspen, Colorado are the current sites of Catch.
The restaurant space at the Continuum is owned by Los Angeles-based Black Lion, and Catch Hospitality, led by partners Tilman J. Fertitta, Mark Birnbaum, and Eugene Remm, negotiated a 15-year lease with Black Lion. The deal’s landlord and renter were both represented by Jeremy Hakala of Newmark’s Miami office.
According to Fertitta, “On the heels of two successful openings on the west coast, we are ready to continue our expansion. Miami Beach has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years, and the city’s evolving dining scene makes it the perfect time to bring our iconic brand to one of the greatest destinations in the world.”
Both indoor dining and a patio with a retractable roof will have an equal number of seats available. The Rockwell Group, based in New York, will create the design.
Steak, sushi, and seafood will all be offered on the menu. Private and semi-private events will be possible to be held at the restaurant.
Other well-known eateries like Prime 112, Carbone, Joe’s Stone Crab, and Milos will be close to Catch.
Black Lion acquired space for a restaurant in September in Miami’s Zaha Hadid-designed condominium One Thousand Museum. For the owner of the commercial property, it was his tenth purchase in South Florida.
Life is Good for Rapper Future Who Recently Purchased a Waterfront Miami Beach Mansion for $“16.3 Million
Award-winning rapper, Future just purchased a stunning waterfront property on Allison Island for $16.3 million.
The singer-songwriter, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, purchased the 7,250-square-foot, seven-bedroom residence at 6493 Allison Road in Miami Beach. The property was sold by Pascale and Laurent Ouazana. Laurent Ouazana was the CEO of Entoria, one of the biggest insurance brokers in France, and is currently a board member.
According to the listing, the Allison Island estate was originally listed at a $19.9 million asking price. The 2020-built property has a three-car garage, 75 feet of water frontage, staff quarters, a detached guest house, a pool, and cabanas.

Miami International Auto Show Returns to Miami October 15-23, 2022
One of the biggest car shows in the country, the Miami International Auto Show, has revealed the dates for its nine-day event this year: October 15–23, 2022 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
At this year’s auto show, more than 500 of the best cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles will be on display. Over 700,000 guests from all over the world are anticipated for this year’s event.
The South Florida Automobile Dealers Association has been the show’s sponsor since it debuted in 1971. Over the course of its 50-year run, the program has donated over $7 million to regional causes, with the most recent $400,000 going to a longtime partner, the Ronald McDonald House.
The past event included around 300,000 people in attendance, in addition to automakers, historic vehicle groups, and automotive enthusiasts from around the world. Acura, Alfa Romeo, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, Ram, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagon are among the exhibitors this year.

Nobu Hotel Miami Beach Made the List of the Top 100 Best Hotels in the World

A hotel in Miami Beach made the list of the 100 Best Hotels in the World just published by Travel & Leisure. Nobu Hotel Miami Beach, which came in at number 81 on the list and is styled to resemble a Japanese beach house, was hailed for its comforts.
According to the Travel + Leisure article, “The list of world-class amenities at this David Rockwell-designed beachfront hotel is impressively long: exceptional epicurean delights, a beautiful 22,000-square-foot spa, three pools, a private marina, and luxurious penthouse-level villas.”
Nobu also made the Best 15 Resorts in the Continental US coming in at #8. Faena Miami Beach also made this list at #14. These two resorts also topped the list for the 15 Best Resort in Greater Miami, followed by Ritz-Carlton South Beach, the Four Season Hotel at the Surf Club, The Setai, and the Standard Spa.
The rankings are weighed by consumer opinions and travel experiences, which are rated by the location, services provided, food services, facilities, and value.

Triple Tower Development Proposed by Hyatt and Gencom on the Miami River
Hyatt and Gencom have recently formed a partnership with the goal to redevelop downtown Miami’s Hyatt Regency into a 3 tower development site located directly on the Miami River. This development is expected to enhance access in and out of the city, and revitalize a major section of Miami’s riverfront.
The proposal calls for a privately funded makeover that includes a reinvented Hyatt Regency hotel with over 1,500 residential apartments, meeting space, and open-air public space along the Miami River.
Three skyscrapers are planned for the site. 682 multifamily apartments, a 615-room Hyatt Regency with over 100,000 square feet of conference space, and 264 serviced apartments will be housed in Towers 1 and 2, which will rise 61 stories.
Tower three, which is expected to have 860 residential units, will be one of South Florida’s highest structures dubbing it a supertall tower. According to a spokesperson of the joint venture, the supertall tower would be 1,049 feet tall, which is the highest height allowed by Miami’s zoning standards.
The towers will be above a podium structure with 190,000 square feet of Class A conference space, which is a 50 percent increase over the James L. Knight Center’s current capacity.
