Just off of Williams Island in Aventura is Privé Island and its twin 16-story towers with 80 units apiece. Now that he has been released from the Miami Heat due to his health problems, it appears Chris Bosh is taking both his talents and his family out of South Beach. He has listed his North Bay Road home on the market for $18 million.
The home was built in 2009 and purchased by the Bosh family in 2010 for just over $12 million. It features ultra-high ceilings (a necessity for the family with a 6 foot 11 patriarch), heated pool, summer kitchen, elevator and guest house. Overall, the home has nearly 12,000 square feet of interior living area with spacious, airy rooms and wide open bay views to the west so that the owners and guests can enjoy Miami’s famous sunsets over the Downtown and Brickell skyline.

Hyde Midtown Prepares To Open Its Doors
We’re going to take a short break from our Art Basel Trophy Property series today to share some very exciting news. Don’t worry, we’ll still bring a trophy property as well, but this is too exciting to not share. Hyde Midtown is preparing to open this month!
According to a Facebook post by Carlos Rosso, Related Group’s President of the Condo Division, the new development is slated to open in just four weeks. This would keep them right on track with the estimated opening date of Winter 2017/2018. He shared these photo previews of the lobby area, and mentioned to us privately that the hotel portion should be ready to start taking reservations in about 60 days.
The Midtown Miami project is currently 90% sold with prices starting in the low-mid $400,000’s.

For today’s Art Basel Trophy Property of the Day, we’re going back to Brickell, to the classic yet chic Four Seasons Brickell with a celebrity-owned condo.
Back in 2013, Romain Zago, the owner of popular Miami Beach night club, Mynt, purchased this 2,139 square foot condo with his brand new wife, former Real Housewife of Miami, Joanna Krupa for $1.37 million. They made some changes to the design, lived out their happiness and re-listed the unit for $2.5 million after divorcing earlier this year. After no buyers surfaced, the price has steadily decreased until Monday, when it was reduced to $2 million.
The property is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath corner apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Brickell Financial District, Biscayne Bay, Port of Miami and Miami Beach. It is located on the 42nd floor of the 70-story tower and includes such amenities as an onsite Equinox Fitness and spa, lounging pool with hammocks hanging between palm trees in the pool, and full Four Seasons’ Hotel amenities.
The Zago-Krupas are not the only celebrities to enjoy the Four Seasons. Rapper Gucci Mane recently wed at the property in a service and party that cost well over $1 million and was televised on BET, and the new owner of the Miami Marlins, Derek Jeter, recently toured options with his family. Mr. Jeter ultimately chose another building, which we will cover later in the week, but the Four Seasons Brickell is certainly a stand-out for celebrity real estate.

Last week, we were invited for a tour of the Penthouse Collection at 1 Homes South Beach and WOW! The way that the residences and hotel have been redesigned by internationally renowned Brazilian interior designer, Debora Aguiar, it is as though you are living in nature in the most glamorous way.
Ms Aguiar used an abundance of plant life in the most creative ways, driftwood finishings to bring the feel of a beach house into the development and oversized windows and terraces to really celebrate the project’s oceanfront location. She also tied in all of the modern conveniences and elegant touches that you would expect in a South Beach trophy property. To be honest, after the tour, I could have filled the entire week-long series with trophy residences here, but let’s start with one.
For those who have not yet visited 1 Homes, it is located along Collins just between the W South Beach (where Zaha Hadid lived) and the Faena District. It is walking distance to the Bass Museum of Art as well as the Miami Beach Convention Center, which makes for another reason it should be included on this week’s list.

Welcome to Art Basel week! This year, we are going to celebrate Miami’s own holiday week with a special series. Rather than our normal lineup of market statistics, development news and neighborhood information, we are going to highlight the best and brightest of Miami’s trophy properties all week long!
Each post this week will feature at least one special property so that you can preview the art that is Miami real estate. All of the properties will be available for purchase for at least $1 million and will stand out in some way, shape or form.
We are going to start the series off in the Miami Riverfront enclave with Ivy at Riverfront’s Upper Penthouse. For those who are unfamiliar, the Miami Riverfront enclave is a guarded and gated community along the north bank of the Miami River, just across from Brickell City Centre. It offers close proximity to Brickell but also the added security of the guard gates. Each of the buildings also has 24-hour doorman as well as valet.

Rosetta Bakery From Miami Beach Plans Two Brickell Locations, One Downtown
Miami Beach’s Rosetta Bakery is gearing up for a HUGE 2018 with seven new locations opening up around the Miami area, according to the Miami New Times. Three of those locations are slated for the Greater Downtown Miami area.
The first Brickell location will be in the base of Brickell Heights’ East Tower, just around the corner from Equinox. The apartments at this location range from the high $300,000’s to $2.8 million for purchase, or $2,000 per month to $11,000 per month for rent and just came available this past summer.
Next, a location will open in the retail space at ECHO Brickell, which opened just last month. The apartments here range from the high $800,000’s for a one bedroom to $4.2 million for a duplex (two-story) three bedroom. They also have a custom-designed penthouse that asks $42 million!
After the two Brickell locations are open, a grab & go kiosk will open in the Miami Central Station in Downtown Miami. We don’t have a date for this just yet, but are very much looking forward to the Brightline link between Miami, Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando and beyond!
The idea behind Rosetta is to offer high-quality, fresh bakery items and coffees quickly and affordably. There aren’t any frozen bakery items, everything is made in small batches by Italian chefs that have been brought here from Italy to share their craft with Miamians.
