In 2024, Miami Worldcenter will welcome the permanent opening of the Museum of Ice Cream. The new facility will be more than 14,000 square feet on two levels, with an entrance on the pedestrian promenade of Worldcenter.

The Museum of Ice Cream will feature 10 interactive installations that are inspired by Miami including, MOIC’s sprinkle pool, the Hall of Freezers, Mary-E’s Diner, and the Cream Liner.

There will also be 5 stations where guests can taste sweets during the 60-90 interactive tour

The art installation was originally open in 2017 at Faena Miami Beach for as a temporary location for 2 months but was so popular, they kept the installation up for 6 months.

Museum of Ice Cream is located at Miami Worldcenter at 851 NE 1st Avenue, Unit 134, Miami.

Miami Worldcenter is a $6 billion mixed-use complex in downtown Miami, which is spread across 27 acres and ten city blocks and includes retail, hospitality, business, and residential areas, is one of the biggest private urban real estate developments in the United States. Miami will once again host Carbone Beach at Formula 1, a restaurant pop-up that is as extravagant as pop-ups come, from May 4–7. The Miami Beach “supper club on the sand” was developed by Major Food Group in collaboration with American Express. Meals prepared by Mario Carbone and a star-studded attendance will all be taking place during Miami Race Week.

Each of the four nights, location TBD, costs $3,000 per participant. Visitors can now request a table (for eight to 14 people) or a place on the waiting list by visiting CarboneBeach.com. Individual tickets will be made available on Resy on April 6, with AMEX Platinum and Centurion cards receiving first access.

More caviar, extravagant seafood towers, enormous dry-aged steaks, unique new dishes, and crowd-pleasing classics can all be found at this year’s Carbone Beach, which may bring back memories of dining at Carbone in South Beach, New York City, Las Vegas, Dallas, Hong Kong, or Doha. On the opening day of the conference, the seven-time Super Bowl winner and businessman will offer his business views during a moderated chat. On April 20 and 21, the technology summit will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Brady is the founder of the NFT firm Autograph and the owner of the health and wellness brand TB12. Autograph earned $170 million in a series B transaction that was completed in January 2022. In 2024, he is scheduled to begin working as a pundit for Fox Sports.

After 23 seasons in the NFL, Brady announced last week that he is quitting the game. The announcement was made a year after he made his initial retirement announcement, which he then reversed six weeks later.

Art Basel returns to Miami Beach with its first ever in-person show in the United States since 2019. With robust sales and exceptional presentations, this show paves the way for years to come. Art Basel’s first show took place on December 2nd, closing on December 4th with reports of brisk sales across all market areas and throughout the course of the exhibition.

The event drew over 60,000 people in total throughout the course of its VIP and regular days with well-known art collectors from 72 countries throughout the United States, Europe, Africa, and Latin America as well as 253 international galleries from 36 countries. In 2019, the art exhibit drew in 81,000 but with the new digital programs, Art Basel could be experienced from the comfort of home.

Through a digital program that includes Online Viewing Rooms, virtual walkthroughs, livestreamed chats, and social media broadcasts that bring the energy and excitement of the show floor to the widest global audience possible. This digital program first tested at the Hong Kong and Basel show with a successful implementation.

According to an Art Basel press release, 44 galleries joined the event for the first time ever, which included Wilding Cran Gallery from Los Angeles, Curro from Guadalajara, Daniel Faria Gallery from Toronto and many more. There were also 4 additional galleries from Africa.

According the Global Director of Art Basel, Marc Spiegler, “This show marks the first truly international art fair to take place in the United States since the beginning of the pandemic. It has been incredible to witness again the energy in the halls and the enormous pent-up demand for seeing, buying, and selling art in person. We featured a much more diverse range of voices than ever before, making this show particularly vibrant and rich in new
discoveries.”
