Miami Circle Park February 9, 2011

The end is almost near…for Miami Circle Park that is.  According to a local news station, a dedication ceremony of Miami Circle Park is scheduled for 11:30am on February 23, 2011.  As you can see from the picture above, the park has come a long way since construction began.  Miami Circle Park, designated a National Historic Landmark to preserve a 2,000 year old archaeological find, is located at the mouth of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay.  Residents of Brickell will now have a green space of which they can be proud.

Anyone know what they are going to do with that empty in front of infinity at Brickell? Toured the building and it is nice. That lot is an eyesore however.

——> the infinity at brickell developer DYL Group owned the lot and planning to build alot taller tower (65 floors), however they never started it to the market crash, and they lost the lot through a foreclosure, and the lot was sold to a new owner, so it has no connection with the existing infinity at brickell at brickell building that I live in anymore.

—–> What I heard is that the owner of the of the lot in not planning to building a condo building on the lot, but rather a some special retail building.

—–> However I heard that will not happen for couple of years

—–> I do agree the empty lot is a eyesore, like the rest of the empty lots in brickell. I am looking forward for them to built on so the area is more neat and clean looking

ps, I never proof read my comments that I post on this blog, so that is why I have so many grammar and typo issues, it is part of my charm.

  6. Miami2010 says:

Thanks for the quick reply. Nice building with better views than I expected.

  7. Drew says:

Yes, owneratinfinity, it is so charming that you have the grammar and writing skills of a 3rd grader.

  8. owneratinfinity says:

Miami2010 – Happy to do it.

    Drew – negative much?

Like I said before on this blog….
I don’t proof read what I type on this or any blog. It is not worth my trouble. I do enough of it at work.

Also you must know by now that I don’t care if poeple on a blog think I have the writing skills of a 3rd grader, they don’t pay my bills.

However, when it involves me making money, that is when I spend the time proof reading. I must proof read all the emails I send out for my career. It wears me out.

I only worry about grammar and proof reading when it’s a financial benefit to me. If you become my employer I will suddenly have perfect writing skills.

Until then I am like Popeye – “I Yam What I Yam”

    Enjoy!!

  9. Are this picture yours?
Can I use in a post (in portuguese) I am writing about the Miami Circle?
    I’ll give all credits.
    Thanks,
    Mia
