The Miami Arts and Entertainment District - also known as the A & E District - is an emerging neighborhood of Miami that is located north of Park West, south of Wynwood, and west of Edgewater. In an effort to bring residents together and build a sense of community, collaborative partners for the Miami Arts and Entertainment District sponsor and/or produce monthly events such as ansa yoga on the lawn, movie nights, live music events, and weekend BBQs. These community-building events have been a big hit with the people of Miami as the crowds appear to be getting larger and larger with each passing week.
Presently, the Miami A&E District has just two major residential developments -
Parc Lofts and
Filling Station Lofts - but more are on the way.
Canvas, developed by NR Investments, will be located at 1630 Northeast 1st Avenue, and the recently announced, 1,430-unit Auberge Residences and Spa Miami, developed by Related Group, will be located at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard.
Centrally located in Miami, the Arts and Entertainment District condos, by car, are just 5 minutes from
Midtown Miami, 7 minutes from the Design District, 8 minutes from South Beach, 10 minutes from
Brickell, and 15 minutes to the Miami International Airport. Additionally, within walking distance are popular sites and attractions such as the Adrienne Arsht Center, Museum Park, the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, the Perez Art Museum Miami, Margaret Pace Park, and the American Airlines Arena.
