The Waverly at South Beach is located at 1330 West Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Originally developed by ZOM Inc. (ZOM South Beach, Ltd.) and completed in 2001 as a luxury rental tower, The Waverly was later acquired in June 2002 by Athena Karlton SoBe, LLC—a joint venture between Karlton Properties and The Athena Group—for $78,775,000, at which time the property underwent a condominium conversion. Designed by the world-renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica, The Waverly South Beach features a two-tiered design rising 36 stories on the western side and 29 stories on the eastern side.
