Publix at Mary Brickell Village – Now Open

June 18th, 2009 · 7 Comments

I was told that the new Publix at Mary Brickell Village opened on June 6, 2009.  Last week, I had a chance to walk its aisles.  Overall, I was pleased.  It’s the nicest Publix that I’ve visited in Miami but not quite as nice as the one in South Beach on West Avenue.  The aisles of the Publix at Mary Brickell Village were wider than most of the Publixes in Miami.  Now, they just need to add one in Downtown Miami or the Arts District.  Better yet, maybe Whole Foods will change their mind again and decide to open at Met 2 when it’s completed after all.

Hola. Justo atrás de este sitio está el 1060 avenue. ¿Que han oído de ese edificio? ¿Buena oportunidad?

Hello. Just behind this place is 1060 Avenue. What do you think about this building? It’s a good deal?

Social event of the year in crime ridden Miami, visit to a Publix supermarket.

Point of interest; where are all the well heeled shoppers who supposedly reside in the over priced surrounding Condos, visiting a Safeway in culturally deprived New York no doubt LOL

Awesome! It was about time Brickell got itself a real, urban Publix! I love the cafe in the back too, sweet!

And as it’s with all Publix stores, that rip consumers off located in areas that are “supposed” to be wealthier, all items will be much more expensive than buying in another store away from there. Pay up s*ckers!
