Happy Birthday to Miami Condo Investments!!!

Wow! Has it really been one whole year since I started the Miami Condo Investments Blog? I guess time flies when you’re having fun. Truthfully, it’s been a lot of work too. The work has definitely paid off though. I was shocked to see how many posts I’ve written within the past year - 235 posts were published prior to this one. That’s a little less than one written every 1 1/2 days!

The Miami Condo Investments Blog will definitely be around for another year. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to maintain the consistency that I had in the first year, but I’ll do my best. This blog will continue to evolve and hopefully get better.

Thank you to those who have contributed to this blog with comments and feedback within the past year. It is your input that has added the fuel to this burning fire. I hope you continue to join me and spread the word about the Miami Condo Investments Blog in Year 2.

congrats Lucas and keep it up — one day, the blog is going to have some great historical value when historians write about the Miami condo market

Gongratulations! With all my heart I wish you good luck. Your blog has been a very informative and valuable one for so many people and what ’s very important you did not restrict the freedom of opinions even if you completely disagreed with them Obviously because it has this element people from all walks of life visited this site very often. As a reader you had a choice and use your own selective mind and intelligence to pick up some bits of wisdom from other people. Thank you very much.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the MCI blog!
It has been extremely informative, interesting to read and also of great eductaional value to those of us that are not RE experts and/or do not live in FL.
Looking forward to many more years!
Thank you, Lucas! You are a true champ!

Congrats Lucas!! Looks like the blog will be going strong long after a few of these developers have become history.

    Two points:
    1. Thank you, Lucas. You do a great job providing what amounts to a free community service. Congratulations.

    2. It might be time to change the name of the Blog. No one “invests” (or, at least, no one should invest) in Miami condos right now. Buying is fine if you plan to enjoy the space yourself. Investing is beyond foolish.

Conrats Lucas, I’ve been reading your blog from early on and it has gotten better with every passing month. Keep up the good work.

    Happy Birthday Lucas!

Year 1 was quite exciting. Not only did you bring great insights into Miami’s real estate trends, but in doing so, you caught some significant blowback from your postings (Any updates on the lawsuit?).

Could you kick year 2 off by removing the “s” from the header (Condos)? Just one of those grammatically frustrating things. Nothing to do w/ Real Estate or the wonderful job you’ve done this past year keeping us informed.

    Best,

Thank you everyone for the kind remarks! I really appreciate them.

Moretroops, I’d love to change the name of the blog, but in doing so I’d lose a ton of backlinks and lots of Google juice.

Biscayne Bystander, the “s” in the header is there for a reason. While grammatically incorrect, it is there for a reason.

just an idea -if you want a new name you could start a parrallel domain with different name that points to this site….building the new name (brand) while leavving the old stuff on this name…

  • 20 Luca Luca // May 12, 2008 at 6:41 pm

Congratulations and Happy Birthday, this is by far the best real estate blog in the Miami area (even if — too many renters…. are too gloomy). One suggestion, Lucas: you need to add a section specifically focused on Sobe. Ciao!

    Lucas,

I want to thank you for all your hard work! I believe this to be the best Real Estate Blog in the country…let alone Miami. Your success is a direct correlation of how hard you work. They say, “The Truth Shall Set You Free,” and I applaud your unbiased opinions, accompanied by unyielding statistical analysis.

CONGRATS!!! I have to tell you that you are doing an amazing job of informing your audience of what’s going on - your blog is one of my favorites.

My hat goes off to you!

  • 23 Samson // May 13, 2008 at 1:21 am

Well done, Lucas. I love walking into this blog. There are so many good people here, saying what they know, feel and believe. It could be about oranges instead of condos and would still be addictive.

    Congratulations, Lucas.

The accolades, the press, and all of your success are very well deserved.

    Thank you.

Congratulations, Lucas. I’ve been following this blog since its inception. Your objective insight and efforts on this blog will definitely be rewarded big-time when this market begins to turn around. (Who else will people trust?)

You have definitely found a way to use a difficult time in Miami real estate to your advantage.

  • 26 SAS // May 13, 2008 at 6:43 pm

Contratulations Lucas and Happy Birthday MCI! I’ve also been following this blog since you first started. It has improved with every passing month. You’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly, (not going to mention names), but it can only get better from here. Don’t change the name, it might be a while but things will turn around then… this site will fly off the charts! I see that this site is not only one of the best in this country but, one of the most followed at all over the world. I still don’t know how you do it but, keep up the great work!

  • 27 Blanca // May 14, 2008 at 6:14 am

    FELICITACIONES! Lucas,

Been with you from day 1. Keep up the good work.
    ciao!

  • 28 Bert // May 20, 2008 at 5:39 pm

    Great Job Lucas,

I’ve been reading this site for at least 7 months and had no idea it was just now only 1 year old. It looks very professional and mature for a 1 year old… I refer many people looking to invest in Miami to this site as I feel it’s one of the only places that provides clear, objective and unbiased views on the Miami Condo market. Every market needs a place where stakeholders can come together and exchange ideas, thank you for providing such a platform.
